PROFESSIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Assistant Professor (TTS) at the Department of Environmental Sciences, COMSATS IIT, Abbottabad, Pakistan. (31-12-2012 to Present).
  • Assistant Professor (IPFP) at the Department of Plant Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan (02-04-2012 to 26-12-2012).
  • From April, 2008 to February, 2012, PhD fellow at Institute of Plant Nutrition and Soil Science, Christian Albrects University of Kiel, Germany.
  • One year research experience in saline agriculture at Saline Agriculture Research Center (SARC), University Of Agriculture Faisalabad (September, 2006 to September, 2007).
  • From March, 2005 to May, 2005 Research Internee at Central Cotton Research Institute, (CCRI) Multan.
  • National Internship Program, 2007: 6 months internship in Samundri and with EDO (Agri), City District Government, Faisalabad.

1- Reclamation of land of small land holders and mitigating the regional climatic impacts through an integrated agronomic approach to combat salinity menace. PI 2.63 M HEC (NRPU 2014) 3 Years (2018-2021).       Ongoing (1st Installment released in Feb. 2018)

2- Comparative Study of Leaf Apoplastic Na+ and Growth-Related Proteins in Maize Leaves under Actual Saline Environment PI 2.12 M HEC (NRPU 2017) 3 Years Approved (Award letter: Awarded on 3rd June, 2018)
