Farewell to Robert Viani Kepdieu Tchebourv – Cameroon

Robert Viani started his exchange program under TWAS-CUI Fellowship at COMSATS Abbottabad Campus in the Fall of 2022. His supervisor was Dr. Umer Farooq, Professor in the Department of Chemistry. He completed his research work in December 2022. During his farewell, he acknowledged and appreciated the exchange program and wished to come back in the future to the same university. Here is Robert’s point of view:

Farewell Words by Robert Viani

“I feel it is important to thank you for welcoming me to your university. I would also like to thank you and all the staff members who have done everything possible to make my stay as pleasant as possible.

During the six months of my fellowship, I had the opportunity to be involved in several areas of research and to acquire new knowledge and skills. These will be very valuable for the realization of my future projects. Thus, the time, attention, the interest that the teaching staff of the university, in particular those of the department of chemistry, has shown me has not been wasted. They gave me the desire to persevere in this field of research for which you gave me the greatest respect. I now have research experience that gives me tracks to improve myself. With all my gratitude, please accept, the expression of my distinguished greetings.”
