An Open House was organized on March 24, 2022, by the Department of Biotechnology, with the support of Biotech Students’ Society.

The theme of the event was awareness about the field of Biotechnology and its role in all aspects of life.The event was held in main auditorium of COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus.

The event comprised different activities including speech competition, poster, and model competition. The aim was to highlight and acknowledge the role of Biotechnology in different fields like Health, Agriculture, Industries and Environment.

Head of the Department, Chairman and other faculty members enlightened the forum about the field of Biotechnology. At the end the Chief Guest of the event Merit Prof. Imtiaz Ali Khan, Director CUI, Abbottabad Campus distributed certificates among the winners and other students.
