Prize Distribution Ceremony PRIME MINISTER’S KAMYAB JAWAN “SKILLS FOR ALL” PROGRAM 11 October 2021

Prize distribution ceremony was held in COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Abbottabad Campus for the trainees of Prime Minister’s “Kamyab Jawan Skills for All” program. Worthy Director, CUI, Abbottabad Campus Merit. Prof. Imtiaz Ali Khan was chief guest of the occasion. In his address to the trainees he highlighted the importance of skill development at individual level as well as on national level. He told the trainees that in current scenario people having professional skills have more scope and there  are millions of opportunities in IT sector. He further said the CUI, Abbottabad Campus has always working for betterment of communities and will continue to do so in future.

Mr. Adam Zahoor Project Coordinator, COMSATS Community Development Unit (CCDU), presented the project report that included the progress of the project till date. Prime Minster’s “Kamyab Jawan Skills for All” program aims to offer quality professional training and skill development opportunities to young people across Pakistan. This program offers Hi End as well as Conventional vocational courses from 3 to 6 months duration.  

CUI, Abbottabad is conducting Certificate in Office Management (6 Months) & Certificate in IT (Web software and Mobile App Development (6 Months). In Batch 1, total 75 trainees had been passed out. Many of the passed-out trainees are now working as freelancers while many other have found job in relevant fields.  75 trainees are currently enrolled in these two courses. The project is providing free of cost quality training, stationary, training material and other resources needed for training to the trainees.
