Outreach Session for Cadet Colege Batrasi

An Outreach session was planned for Cadet College, Batrasi for Career Guidance. Team from CUI Abbottabad visited college on 15th Febuary, 2019. Eet among a foliage of trees, the building of the campus was calm & serene. The main purpose was to make students understand different career opportunities, and to give guidance to the students about the programs that are offered at CUI ATD. Dr. Adeel Jalal Malik (Lecturer DS Dept.) was the focal person. During session he covered many career options which were available to the students. Dr. Humaira Khan (Senior Research Officer, at High Mountain Research Center) gave them flavor of different research programs. And informed them about different research units that currently exist on campus. The session was quite interactive. Students were showing good interest and they seemed motivated too.  Concluding session was about “Admission Processing System”, which was conducted by Ms. Javeria Qamer. During her session she gave fruitful information on admission from online form till display of merit lists. She briefly exaplained about the scholarships programs and different student exchange programs. Admission flyers were distributed among the faculty members for MS  & PhD programs. The last session was “Question & Answers Session” that was handled by all the team members. The team answered all the queries of the students. This session was interactive and wonderful. In the end the team met the Principal of the College, Brig(R) Abdul Hafeez over cup of tea. He was thanked the campus team for visiting and requested to keep giving opportunities to students. He complimented the team for knowledge exchange. After tea he gave souvenirs to whole team and also presented souvenir shield of their college to Dr.  Adeel Malik.   After tea Vice Principal Mr. Tauqeer-ul-Islam and group of students accompanied the team during a campus visit. It was a beautiful campus. Overall the visit was successful and knowledgeable for the students.
