Societies at COMSATS University, Abbottabad Campus
Overview
We at COMSATS University, Abbottabad Campus have a very strong belief that extracurricular activities bring responsibility, character, and maturity to the participating students and promote a healthy environment as well as knowledge, high moral values, and positive attitudes.
Clubs and societies are very important for creative activities on campus. A number of clubs and societies are active at the Abbottabad campus. These societies are involved in literary, dramatic, scientific, software, and photography related activities. The societies regularly organize painting/sketching competitions, debates, bait-bazi, quiz competitions, Naat and Qirat competitions, photography competitions, and scientific gatherings. Sports clubs are the platform for the promotion of healthy activities among students.
The Abbottabad campus has grounds that are designed and maintained for various sports activities like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and athletics. Presently the following clubs and societies are actively working:
