Orientation and start of classes Fall 2021

Semester Fall 2021 session for first semester is starting on September 21, 2021, in physical mode of teaching. 

A reception desk will be available near the campus monument. The team from your department will receive you and guide you.

Tuesday, 21 September 2021 Activities for First semester Under-Graduate students:

  • Reach campus by 9:30 am
  • Attend the mandatory Orientation session at 10:00 am in main auditorium.
  • Bring along copy of NADRA issued Vaccination certificates, to be shown when asked.  Come wearing face masks.
  • Collect student folders, timetable, semester schedule, rule books, course outlines etc. from DOO Offices/ assigned help desks.
  • Get your photographs taken for student ID cards as directed by DOO offices. Your admission form number will be required.
  • Enquire about your COMSATS University registration numbers, CU online portal passwords from DOO office/ departmental representative.
  • Visit the campus

  • Attend the mandatory orientation session at 3:00 pm in Main auditorium.
  • Bring along copy of NADRA issued Vaccination certificates, to be shown when asked. Come wearing face masks.
  • Get your photographs taken in room 105 of admin block during this first week. Your admission form number/ registration number will be required.
  • Enquire for your COMSATS University registration numbers, CU online portal passwords from your DOO offices. Or contact Graduate office in room N- 111 of admin block after orientation or later during the week.
  • There will not be any classes on the day of the orientation.
  • Time tables for the MS programs can be searched at this link. Choose the program name from the drop down. The MS programs start with the abbreviation R (for example, RMS for MS in Management Sciences, and RCS for MS in Computer Science, and RCM for MS in chemistry) The PhD programs start with the abbreviation P (For example; PPY is for PhD In Pharmacy) If still uncertain about your program, please contact your Graduate program coordinator.

  • The students who have paid their fee dues online, and have not submitted the original deposit slip, please contact the accounts office (Room # 109 in admin block) on Monday morning, to get things clarified.
  • Your timetable is updated and can be viewed at this link.

DETAILS FOR HOSTELITES:

The hostelites must report in campus hostel on Sunday, September 19, 2021 by 12:00 pm. Kindly bring your basic necessities with you. You will be provided with a bed, mattress, table, chair and a cupboard. Make sure you have gone through the safety instructions and SoPs related to COVID-19. Bring NADRA Issued Vaccination certificate. For hostel related queries write to [email protected]. Must bring along Vaccination certificates to be shown before entering the campus hostels.

SOPs to be followed for your safety and the safety of others while you are on campus:

  • Must Wear face masks
  • Keep social distance wherever possible.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands
  • Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow (sleeve sneezing) or use a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Do not litter in campus, classrooms, in the hallways and in your hostel rooms. Use dustbins.
  • The health, welfare and safety of students, faculty and staff is the number one priority for the University. Therefore, your full cooperation is requested in order to ensure proper facilitation to all.
