Department of Environmental Sciences was established in 2004, at CUI Abbottabad campus. It is an integrated department designed to provide a comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals of natural, biological and physical sciences in solving environmental problems. Main emphasis of the Department is to conduct globally recognized basic and applied research and deliver education of high international standard to build a skilled human resource that will contribute towards national and international decision-making and management of environmental and health risks.

Our faculty members are top research scientists, dedicated educators, advisors, and mentors. We contribute quality instruction and scientific expertise in the field of environmental sciences, both now and for the future, to meet the global challenges in the protection of the environment, mitigation of natural hazards, supplies of natural resources, and public awareness.
