The Department of Management Sciences at the Abbottabad Campus was established in 2003 and has been a beacon of CUI’s mission to offer modern academic programs incorporating the latest technologies and contemporary managerial practices. From its modest beginnings, this department has grown to become one of the oldest and third largest departments within the Abbottabad Campus, a testament to its resilience and commitment to excellence.

The department boasts a team of 51 full-time faculty members, with over half holding advanced international degrees, including 23 PhDs. This mix of local and global academic expertise reflects the department’s dedication to delivering high-quality education and conducting impactful research, positioning it at the forefront of management sciences.

Currently, we are offering undergraduate programs in Business Administration with specializations in HR, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Hospitality and Tourism Management, as well as degrees in Economics and Business Data Analytics. Additionally, the department offers five graduate programs, including PhD and MS in Management Sciences, an MS in Project Management, an MS in Economics, and an MBA.

At the Department of Management Sciences, students are not just educated but encouraged to develop their unique expertise, benefiting from an environment that nurtures future leaders. The department’s close collaboration with industry and academia enriches the learning experience, as evidenced by numerous successful alumni who have made significant contributions within and outside Pakistan, inspiring the next generation of leaders.
