Housing/ Hostel Facilities

COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus is providing boarding facility to its students. In this regard there are two blocks (Salman Firdaus Hostel and an old block) to accommodate approximately 666 male students and one block is for more than 120 female students.
  

Salman Firdaus hostel facilities

• The rooms can accommodate three occupants.
• Every room has three study tables, and three beds, along with a one large closet.
• There is a badminton court in the boys hostel.
• Two mess options are available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily.
• Paid Laundry services are available weekly
• Paid Wi-Fi access is provided 24/7
• Gym is available in the facility

Girl’s hostel facilities

• The rooms can accommodate three occupants.
• Every room has three study tables, and three beds, along with a one large closet.
• Prepared/cooked food at mess is provided inside the hostel three times a day.
• Laundry facility provided inside
• Paid Wi-Fi facility available
• Lawns in front of girls’ hostel.
• A Lady warden stays 24 hours in the hostel for supervision.
• Girl’s hostel has an independent gate at the entrance of the building.
• Female boarding blocks are surrounded with barbed wire for security and are provided an independent and free environment.
• Ladies gym is provided inside the facility.

Students have to seek permission to go outside the Institute premises and female students require the approval of the warden and the Provost to go outside the Main Gate.
