On January 24, 2022, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Abbottabad Campus signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hazara University, Mansehra, in acknowledgment of the mutual importance of endorsing and promoting academic relations between the two academic institutions.

The signing ceremony took place at the Abbottabad Campus of CUI. Merit. Prof. Imtiaz Ali Khan, Director COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, and Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, Hazara University, Mansehra, were among the honourable signatories of the MoU. All heads of academic departments and administrative officials of CUI, Abbottabad Campus were in attendance during the occasion.

The Memorandum of Understanding covers bilateral research and academic partnership initiatives in mutually beneficial areas.

Merit. Prof. Imtiaz Ali Khan, Director of the COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, claimed that the CUI, Abbottabad Campus is an exemplary institution. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding underlines the commitment of both the institutions to collaborate, providing opportunity for all members to participate in collaborative research, teaching, student, and staff exchanges through a variety of events and programmes. According to Director COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, CUI Abbottabad Campus is gratified to strengthen its cooperation with Hazara University, an academic institution known for its contributions to quality teaching, research, and great community outreach.

Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad, Vice Chancellor, Hazara University, Mansehra, expressed his gratitude for the efforts made by the COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, which resulted in the successful signing of the abovementioned MoU.
