| Mr. Awais Rashid holds Masters. Degree in International Trade and Finance from Leeds Metropolitan University Leeds, UK in June 2007. His Dissertation was in the area of Trade Policies of Pakistan and their impact on growth. He also has completed stage one of ACCA,UK and Two papers of stage Two.
He has also worked in Toyota Walton Lahore as account assistant for one year, and later on worked as Trainee in Awais Hyder Zaman Rizwani Chartered Accountants, Islamabad for 18 Month period, from January 2003 to June 2004. In this capacity, he performed many different functions starting from Tax department to Audit department, where he prepared the company as well as individual tax returns, incorporation of new companies, and in audit department he performed internal audit in PTV Pakistan, PTV 1, PTV academy, PTV Quetta as a job in charge and formulated the monthly report as well for the organization. He also performed the duties in the Department of Custodian of Enemy Property of Pakistan as job in charge external audit and preparation of accounts as well for Three Years.
Mr. Awais Rashid has also been part of the research activities in the Department of Management Sciences, he published two research papers. He also taught a number of courses at both undergraduate and graduate level. He has been actively involved in organizing a number of workshops and research conferences. |
