Profile/Bio
| Mr. Umar Hassan has been working as an enthusiastic faculty member who has contributed in various forms to the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology. He has done his Bachelors in Business Administration and his Masters in Business Administration from The University of Lahore where he received academic distinction. He has worked as a Research Associate for the same institute during his studies. Since 2005, he has been working as a Lecturer in the Department of Management Sciences of COMSATS Abbottabad. He specialized in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development and Strategic Management. He completed his M.Phil from COMSATS in 2011 specializing in Human Resource Management.
He has always tried to come up with innovative and creative ideas to deliver his course material to BBA and MBA classes. His approach always focuses on encouraging the students to participate in practical activities learning the dynamics of actual business environments. He has been provided with challenging administrative opportunities over the years. He has worked as Departmental Coordinator for the Department of Electronics Engineering for 2 years. Recently he served as the head of Student Affairs section leading the record breaking Fall 2012 Admission Campaign. Currently he is working in full spirit with the Department of Management Sciences. |
