The Department of Management Sciences (DMS) takes immense pride in our commitment to fostering a culture of growth and excellence in students. On Thursday, October 5th, 2023, the Department of Management Sciences (DMS) proudly hosted a one-day workshop on the “Fundamentals of Islamic Banking.” This workshop was organized under the Young Islamic Banking Professionals Program (Y-IBP), established by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

This significant event underscored the unwavering commitment of DMS to empower its students with real-world insights and opportunities. The success of this workshop would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our esteemed faculty members, namely, Mr. Asad Rafaq and Dr. Syed Qasim Shah. Their efforts were further reinforced by the unwavering support of the Head of Department, the patronage of the Campus Director, and the invaluable contributions of our distinguished guests.

Additionally, they have the prospect of participating in internship programs offered by partner banks and industry visits that will provide them with hands-on experience in the banking sector.

A Journey Towards Excellence: At the Department of Management Sciences, we are committed to nurturing excellence in management education. This seminar is just one of the many initiatives we undertake to provide our students with a comprehensive and enriching educational experience that extends beyond the classroom.
