Along with carrying out the academic activities department had conducted several other activities including research, workshops, seminars etc. So far following activities have been conducted along with the academic activities

• 21 Research Papers have been published by the department in the HEC recognized journals.
• Department organized three workshops on the women rights on the occasion of International Women Day (March 8) of every year.
• Organized Seminar on the role of volunteers in Development with the collaboration of the National Volunteers Movement Seminar on Gender and Globalization
• Organized seminar on Gender and Globalization in Pakistan.
• Conducted several seminars on different development issues in various NGOs & colleges
