V LOG competition organized by Environmental Protection Society
Vlog Competition was organized by the Environmental Protection Society (EPS), Department of Environmental Sciences, CUI, Abbottabad Campus on 13 December 2021. This event was based on the theme “A Day Spent At CUI’’.
Students from all departments participated in the competition formally inaugurated by Mr. Umer Hassan, Convener Campus Societies. Mr. Umer Swati, Media Manager of Water and Sanitation Services Company Abbottabad graced the event as Chief Guest. Head Environmental Sciences Department Dr. Qaisar Mehmood T.I., In charge of EPS Society Dr. Shamyla Nawazish, and Mr. Umer Swati delivered informative talks on good management Practices to mitigate the solid waste at Abbottabad and friendly attitude towards the environment.
The WASA not only agreed to offer internships to the students of the Environmental Sciences Department but also showed interest to organize joint ventures to combat future pollution challenges.
Winners of the competition were awarded cash prizes and Souvenirs were presented to the Chief Guest as a token of gratitude.
