One week “HUAWEI ICT Academy Instructor Training” held from 9-13^th August 2021 organized by CS department in collaboration with HUAWEI, UET-KICS Lahore.

The objective of this program is to further expand the learning span of ICT technologies among students at University Level, 2^nd tier HAINA project is initiated by HUAWEI. Under this program, more universities will be attached with HUAWEI who are keen to become HUAWEI academy. This will be beneficial in further developing technological knowledge in the higher education sector of Pakistan.

Under this program HUAWEI will train the trainers of selected universities and provide training of Routing and Switching and Network security at associated level. At the first stage HUAWEI will also provide free of cost vouchers to selected university students to become certified in HUAWEI Technologies. After successful completion of the first step / stage HUAWEI will further expand its certification program to AI, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Network Storage, and 5 G technologies.
