The research-based Civil (Geomatics) Engineering (MSc Thesis) degree typically requires two years of full-time study beyond a bachelor’s degree and is in high demand throughout Pakistan. The Department of Civil (Geomatics) Engineering provides global excellence in graduate education and research, with students learning from faculty members who have earned both an international and national reputation. Geomatics engineering careers are diverse and exciting, requiring skills ranging from GIS modelling and remote sensing to field work, providing a satisfying indoor/outdoor balance in one of the modern-day emerging information technologies. Geomatics engineering is highly demanded new area in job market at national and international level. The demand of this field is rising in all government, semi-government, private and multi-national organizations including Asian Development Bank and World Bank.
