Registrar Office-Academic section is headed by Jamil Ahmad Deputy Registrar CUI Abbottabad campus and is fully responsible for smooth conduct of academic activities. Academics section has been maintaining all type of students’ record (both soft and hard). Main functions of the academics section are as under:

- Providing support to Director Campus in all academic matters and implementation of decisions of Universities Authorities.
- Providing support to Academic Departments in correspondence with regulatory and accreditation bodies like HEC, PEC, NBEAC and NCEAC etc.
- Preparing Academic Calendar and compiling data required for various types of Reports.
- Custodian of record and master list of all students of Abbottabad campus and ensuring maintenance of office records in proper manner.
- Providing consultancy services to students and academic departments relating to academic matters.
- Providing services like Orientation, Registration, Card Issuance, Courses Offering and Registration, Drop, Withdrawal/Freezing/Rejoining of Studies, Readmission, Inter Campus Migration, issuance of certificates like equivalency certificates, Course Completion on the request of students.
- Responsible for the checking of eligibility criteria of all admitted student and forwarding the cases of students to Exams section for verification from the respective Board/Universities.
- Dealing all the academic and administrative matters of foreign students enrolled in CUI Abbottabad campus
- Providing support for Hybrid mode of learning.
